Carolyn Quinn Allen

An authentic worshiper and woman of God, Minister Carolyn Allen is a vessel who has ministered the

word of God to many both locally and abroad. Carolyn was born in Greenville, Mississippi and raised in

Saginaw, Michigan. She now resides in Grand Rapids, Michigan with her husband Harry Allen. She is a

Residential Advisor for the Gerald R. Ford Job Corps Center. Carolyn felt God’s call to proclaim His word,

so she yielded to the will of God. She received her Evangelist License on August 7, 2005. Minister Allen

was also given her license to preach by Pastor C.A. Pace at the True Light Baptist Church in 2016. Carolyn was blessed to obtain her bachelor and master degrees in Ministry Leadership from Cornerstone University and Grand Rapids Theological Seminary, respectively.

Widely known for her musical ability, she currently serves as  Minister of Worship and Arts at the

True Light Baptist Church, a member of Debra Perry and Majestic Praise and has been featured on

multiple CD projects such as The James Cleveland GMWA Women of Worship, Edwin Hawkins Music and

Arts Seminar, local artist Gregory Peacock and Jeremy Simpson. Carolyn has been a featured artist with

the Grand Rapids Symphony Holiday Pops Series. Carolyn has been given the wonderful opportunity to

record her 1 st CD project entitled “Grateful”, produced by Debra Perry. Her desire is to reach people right where they are. Carolyn is an encourager to people in all walks of life.

When asked concerning the mandate on her life, Carolyn says: "My calling is to be used as a vessel to put a

song in every heart and to be a proclaimer of the good news of Jesus Christ."
